West Hollywood Library Achieves LEED Gold Certification
The new West Hollywood Library surpassed planned energy and sustainability goals with its recent LEED Gold certification--one of the few municipal buildings in California to have achieved this standard. Some of the sustainable features of the project include low-emitting and locally-sourced materials, optimized-energy performance systems and a photovoltaic system that converts energy from the sun into electricity for the building.
