Los Angeles Leadership Academy, Lincoln Heights Middle School, Los Angeles, CA

The Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lincoln Heights Middle School will occupy an existing 1920’s era building that formerly housed an orphanage. We are planning, entitling, designing and administering the construction of this 26,000 SF adaptive re-use project that will transform the existing building into an educational facility with sixteen classrooms, a multi purpose room, outdoor assembly room and faculty offices. Exiting and ADA requirements prompted the need to design and build a new three story stair and elevator tower, whose facade will complete the existing U-shaped courtyard transforming it into the outdoor assembly room.
