Museum of Redlands Donors Announce Campaign to Fund Project by Johnson Favaro

The Museum of Redlands (MOR) took a major step forward with a surprise announcement from two of the original lead donors. Clara Clem, whose original gift of $1 million enabled the former Redlands Daily Facts building to become the MOR site, has joined with Tim and Carol Rochford, who purchased the adjoining lot on Brookside Avenue, by announcing a new $2 million matching challenge.  For every dollar raised during the matching campaign, which ends December 31, the gift will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $2 million, resulting in $4 million.

Culver City, CA (October 17, 2017) – The Redlands Historical Museum Association has commissioned Culver City-based architecture and urban design firm, Johnson Favaro to design the Museum of Redlands (MOR). The new museum will be situated just west of downtown Redlands, at the site of the former Redlands Daily Facts building. The museum will present changing exhibitions and interactive technology that explore the rich cultural heritage of the city of Redlands and Southern California.
